Travel Details
For visitors travelling to the house by car and ferry we recommend a Dover-Calais crossing and the autoroute to Reims, Troyes and Langres and then the main road to Pontarlier and Vallorbe at the Swiss border. From Vallorbe the Swiss autoroute to Montreux and exit the autoroute at Monthey, then the mountain road to Morgins still in Switzerland and cross the border into France at Chatel and descend the mountain road as far as Bonnevaux which is three kilometres from Abondance. The house is approximately 500 miles from Calais.
For travel by air, Geneva airport is 1 hour from the house (hire car at airport). |
